Code of Conduct for Members and Event Participants
The Arts Pledge is committed to creating a professional, inclusive, and respectful community for all members and participants.
This Code of Conduct applies to:
- Members
- Event attendees
- Speakers and presenters
- Partners and collaborators
1. Expected Behaviour
Members and participants are expected to:
- Treat others with respect and professionalism
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment
- Engage constructively in discussions and events
- Follow guidance issued by event organisers
2. Unacceptable Behaviour
The following behaviours are not acceptable:
- Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
- Offensive or abusive language
- Disruptive behaviour at events
- Misuse of Arts Pledge platforms or communications
- Any behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of others
3. Reporting Concerns
Concerns about behaviour should be reported to The Arts Pledge organisers as soon as possible.

4. Enforcement
The Arts Pledge reserves the right to take appropriate action where this Code of Conduct is breached, including:
- Issuing a warning
- Removal from an event without refund
- Suspension or termination of membership
5. Commitment to a Positive Community
The Arts Pledge aims to foster a collaborative and respectful environment where members can share knowledge, develop partnerships, and support the advancement of arts education and cultural engagement.
